Comments 
Gate Crasher 1.1 displays a fake screen claiming to fix the millenium bug (kind of outdated). It also infected windows NT but did not allow us to connect. This version needs a bunch of files sent to the host and uses Serv-U FTP for the FTP server.

How To Remove

Manual removal:

  1. Remove the Inet key in the registry located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run  Which can be done with regedit or any other registry editing program 
  2. Reboot the computer or close the trojan.
  3. Delete the trojan file EXPLORER.exe, Inet.hlp, Winsck.dat, Winsck.ini in the windows directory.
